Phase Two

Winter Garden

We've been dreaming with our friends at PlainJoe Studios about the possibilities for the Phase 2 build-out and we're pretty excited with the results. The following images show some of the major concepts on which we have been working. While some of the details are subject to change, this concept art illustrates the major idea behind each space.

The current Mix56 room will become a multi-purpose space, taking on a new look and feel to meet many needs including a sanctuary overflow room when the time comes or an incubator for future campuses.

The Greenhouse Room

We took our inspiration for this repurposed space from an old greenhouse not far from the Winter Garden building at the historic Nehrling Gardens in Gotha, FL. With a greenhouse being a place for growth and development, it’s the perfect imagery for a room designed with Discipleship in mind. Greenhouses are often used to care for young plants before being moved outside. In the same way, we hope that new campuses and new churches could be incubated right here in our own church greenhouse before launching publicly.

Additional WG Plans

  • Mix56 (fifth and sixth graders) will move from their current home by the coffee bar into what is now called The City.
  • A secure outdoor basketball area will be added to what is currently a loading dock behind the building.
  • Four more classrooms will be added to Mosaic Kids.
  • A dedicated bathroom and changing area for kids with special needs will be added in order to serve our superheroes better than ever.
  • A couple of small meeting rooms will be added and made accessible on Sunday morning from the curved hallway without interfering with Mosaic Kids.
  • A small grouping of staff offices will be built on the currently unused mezzanine level.
  • More bathrooms will be added at the end of the curved hallway by the back doors and a bathroom will be built backstage.

Mosaic at WDW New Space

Mosaic at WDW’s new home is an unused church building just 3 minutes from Disney Springs and literally right across the street from Disney property! With minimal renovation work, we’ll be able to make this building feel like you’ve walked into a smaller version of our Winter Garden campus. It’s going to be an incredible new home for this unique campus focused on frontline cast members at WDW, most of whom move here for the college program, intern program and international program.
